Nikah & marriage
Our imams officiate nikah for couples in the greater Seattle area and offer confidential counseling before and after marriage.
How it works

Submit a nikah request at least three weeks in advance with both parties' contact details.

Attend a 60-minute pre-marital session with an imam covering rights, expectations, and the marriage contract.
- 3
Provide a valid Washington State marriage license and two adult witnesses.
- 4
Reserve the main hall or community hall if you'd like the ceremony on site (fees apply for non-members).
Counseling
Marital counseling is free for regular attendees and offered on a sliding scale otherwise. Sessions are confidential and available with a male or female counselor. Call (206) 555-0142 or email salaam@icseattle.org to arrange a time.
